This is a prompt I created to help product owners and product managers deal with a flood of suggestions from HiPPOs, RHiNOs, and Seagull Managers. This approach creates a 'common language' for user stories that can be consistently used for stakeholders, dev teams, customer support, and even enablement materials.
The prompt utilizes a combination of the following techniques:
Tactic 1: Set the stage in the CONTEXT block by describing the task and anticipated result.
Tactic 2: Provide multiple feature request examples to enrich the model's understanding.
Tactic 3: Use Markdown to organize sections and highlight key elements.
Tactic 4: Use form brackets to specify placeholders where the model should provide specific information.
Tactic 5: Choose language, tone, and style that reflect the PM's role and align with Agile product development.
Tactic 6: Use the QUESTION block to keep the model focused on the primary task
Works best in GPT-4, though results with GPT-3 are okay.
